This car is owned by Ken West
of Victoria, the car is a 58' fc holden. It runs 350/350 running gear.
the power is distributed by a ford 9' diff with 3.55 ratio. It has Dragway
db100's with 235/60 on the rear and 195/60 on the front. The front end
is HR which has been strengthed, it was supplied by Rod Hadfield, along
with the diff and chassis. the car is now dusty tomato/black/cream, but
future plans are to change the colour to black and platinum silver. As
you may realise the Fc has an extra strip along the rearquarter, which
was apparently a Californian strip which we don't really know that much
about.Hope you enjoy the pic. |

This is a Chevrolet El Camino
from South Africa. It was sent to me because the owner was having trouble
getting information on it from the states. It is running a 5.0 ltr with
the only thing non standard being a holley carb. Even as far back as the
fifties Holden was exporting to 55 countries in the world but under what
label I am unsure!

|
This is fine example
of Chevrolet 350 powered Statesman, apart 70's style mags and alarm it
is factory standard! It can be seen on the roads around Canterbury New
Zealand regularly.
