VR
The VR followed the success that Holden adopted many years earlier that you don't change a winning formula before it's time. The VR had though looked quite different from the VN or VP  with cleaner lines and small detail changes all around the car.  One of the noteable changes was around the rear window, another was the change to the front grill or slot. The specs read nicely for the Calais with independant suspension all round and four wheel ABS disc brakes.
